Abstract: The structure and mechanical properties of heterophase compositions based on isotactic polypropylene and ultra-high-molecular-weight polydecene have been studied. The introduction of 20 wt % polydecene significantly increases the resistance of polypropylene to impact loads. The molecular weight characteristics of polydecene affect the particle size of the dispersed phase and mechanical characteristics of the studied mixtures. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. 2024.
