摘要
Effects of different engine loads on combustion and emission characteristics of a large displacement diesel engine were investigated using endoscope visualization technology, and an image correction method based on multidimensional coordinate transformation model and orthodontic model was presented. It is found that image distortion can be significantly reduced and data processing accuracy can be improved by image correction. The increase of load will lead to the time lag of peak cylinder pressure and heat release rate and prolong the ignition delay period and combustion duration. At low load, the flame in the cylinder is difficult to penetrate the bottom of the cylinder, and the space utilization rate is low. With the increase of load, the peak flame temperature rises, and its distribution position shifts downstream of the cylinder. Meanwhile, the soot concentration and its distribution range of soot increase. Under high load conditions, emissions of soot,NOx,CO and HC emission are increased to varying degrees. © 2024 Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines. All rights reserved.
