Effect of recrystallized microstructure on the creep behavior of dilute Mg-Ca alloy

摘要
The importance of controlling recrystallized microstructure on the creep behavior is successfully unveiled in the dilute Mg-0.3 wt%Ca alloy. The two crucial factors for improving creep resistance are manifested to be solute segregation at grain boundary and pyramidal slip in grain interior rather than high recrystallization fractions or finer recrystallized grains. It is expected that this finding can provide strong promotion in the future development of creep-resistant Mg alloys.
