摘要
In response to the need to effectively address the challenges of inclusion in Physical Education, the following objectives were set in the present study: (1) analyze the perception of future Physical Education teachers about the potential of popular games for inclusive work; and (2) know the assessment of teacher training for inclusive work in popular games. A total of 60 university students (M-age = 22.25, SD = 2.03), who took the subject of traditional games within the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences participated in the study. An ad hoc questionnaire consisting of two scales was developed in order to evaluate: a) the potential of traditional games for inclusive work at a motor and social level; b) the training received at the university on popular games and adapted sports. The results obtained indicate that students perceive traditional games as content with great potential at a motor level, but fundamentally at a social level, which makes them ideal for inclusive work. However, teacher training in this area is rated with the worst score, highlighting the need for more methodological strategies. Despite this, students consider inclusive training for traditional games work as necessary.
