摘要
Yacheng Formation is the main hydrocarbon-generating series of strata in Qiongdongnan Basin. Based on the data of paleontology, lithology, paleostructure and paleomorphology, this paper systematically analyzes the sedimentary environment and sedimentary facies of Yacheng Formation in the eastern deepwater area in Qiongdongnan Basin, and futher analyzes the development conditions of marine source rocks. The results show that during the sedimentary period of the Yacheng Formation, the eastern deepwater area in Qiongdongnan Basin was a semi-enclosed bay, where extensive coastal shallow sea sediments were developed in Songnan, Baodao, and Changchang sags; multiple small-scale near-source fan deltas and deltas were developed in the margin of sags; coastal plains were distributed in areas with the high site of sedimentary ancient landform at the periphery of sags. Controlled by the sedimentary environment, coal-bearing source rocks are mainly developed in the coastal plain and the offshore plain with fan-deltas and delta facies in the periphery of sags. Marine mudstones dominated by terrestrial organic matter are the main source rocks in the sags. Supply of terrestrial organic matter and a relatively quiet water environment are the two main controlling factors for the development of marine source rocks. Based on analogy analysis, 9 potential development areas of marine source rocks were identified in Yacheng Formation in the eastern deepwater area in Qiongdongnan Basin, of which 5 are the most favorable development areas of source rocks. © 2019, Editorial Office of ACTA PETROLEI SINICA.
