α-Fe2O3@C/MXene composites with core-shell structures applied as electrodes for pseudo-supercapacitors

摘要
alpha-Fe2O3@C/MXene composites were successfully synthesized by a two-step hydrothermal method, and the composition and structure were investigated by XRD, SEM, TEM, and XPS instruments. Then, the electrochemical behaviors under different scanning rates were gradually measured. The mass specific capacitance of the alpha-Fe2O3@C/MXene composite with MXene usage of 0.4 mg/mL is about 40.85 F/g at the scanning rate of 10 mV/ s. The change rate of mass specific capacitance is only 84.98 %. And the BET surface area is about 28.4 m2/mg. The MXene loading on alpha-Fe2O3@C electrodes may effectively alleviate the changes of the mass ratio and the capacitance at a higher scanning rate. Finally, the pseudo-capacitance contribution of alpha-Fe2O3@C/MXene composites was quantitatively evaluated by the dynamic analysis at different scanning rates.
