八边形链的Kekul结构和Caterpillar树的Hosoya指标(英文)

摘要：

八边形系统是一个有限的2-连通平面图且它的每一个内部面都是一个正则八边形.八边形链是这样一个八边形系统:它的每一个正则八边形都至多有两个相邻的八边形.这篇文章中我们将证明:对于任何一条八边形链Q,都存在与之相对应的Caterpillar树C(Q)使得Caterpillar树C(Q)的Hosoya指标等于这条八边形链的Kekule′结构数目.
