LATTER HOLOCENE SEA LEVEL CHANGES AROUND HAINAN ISLAND

<正> Rcef flat occurred repeatedly by the reef-building corals stretches its area towards the sea kceping close to the sca surface,and usually precscnts a grand view of landscape pretruding out of the beach.Since the uper growth limit of coral is the low tide lcvcI, reef flat may be considered as a reliable sign of sca lcval.The local sea level changes is bound to be reflected in the formative process and rolief of rccf flat and the profile structure by the core samples from the reef areas.Relationship between thc development of reef flat and the sea level changes along the coast of the Hainan Island, China is discussed and the curve to the local sea level changes of the latter half Holeceue is outlined based on the relation in this paper.
