摘要
The objective of this study is to show the most number of common denominators in four successful Latin American practices in crime prevention. The analysis was done with a qualitative methodology of theoretical design nature and axial coding. The theoretical framework links the citizen participation with governance to synthesize the social, environmental and situational prevention prospects in the Community model. Data were collected on process indicators rather than impact indicators. The main results are: the association between citizens and authorities, the management of social rights and citizen empowerment through participatory budget.
