摘要
An investigation of the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer flow past a moving vertical plate in nanofluids in the presence of a uniform transverse magnetic field and thermal radiation in a rotating system has been carried out. The plate temperature is assumed to be oscillate with a constant frequency. Three different water-based nanofluids containing copper, aluminium oxide and titanium dioxide are taken into consideration. The nanofluid problem is formulated using the nanoparticle volume fraction model. The coupled partial differential equations governing the flow are solved analytically. The numerical results for fluid velocity, temperature, rate of heat transfer and shear stresses are presented graphically for pertinent physical parameters and discussed in details. An increase in the radiation parameter enhances the fluid velocity as well as the temperature. The fluid temperature rises for increasing values of the frequency of oscillations leading to an increase in the thermal boundary layer thickness.
