GOLD-BEARING PRECAMBRIAN AND PALEOZOIC ROCKS OF KYRGYZSTAN

Gold contents have been estimated in the rocks of 30 Precambrian and Paleozoic formations and complexes of Kyrgyzstan based on about 6000 analysis. The highest gold contents were found in carbonaceous, silica and tuffaceous (grauwacke) sediments as well as in volcanites of basic and ultrabasic composition. Gold-bearing rocks were sedimented for the most part in the rift and eugeosyncline structures during the miogeosyncline stage. A prognosis-metallogenetic importance of the gold contents in these rocks has been stressed.
