摘要
The electroreduction of refractory-metal (Hf, Nb, Cr, Re, Ir) complexes in halide and oxyhalide melts is examined. The effects of the anionic and cationic composition of the melt, temperature, concentration, and rate of polarization on the steps and mechanism involved in electroreduction are discussed. The kinetic parameters, such as diffusion and transfer coefficients, and heterogeneous charge transfer rate constants, are defined for the discharge of refractory-metal complexes.
