摘要
Zinc and copper status were assessed in 26 lead workers and compared with 33 normal controls. Lead levels were determined by electrothermal atomic absorption spectroscopy, zinc and copper levels by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy and caeruloplasin activity by a colorimetric method. Plasma zinc and copper levels and caeruloplasmin activity were significantly higher in lead workers. The probable mode of intake of this excess zinc and copper in lead workers is inhalation.
