摘要
The criteria and procedures to achieve the validity of produced knowledge are relevant in the methodological reflection on social research. Questions about the validity in qualitative research incite to rethink the qualitative and quantitative distinction and the definitions on validity. After outlining these discussions, it is proposed to describe the main specific procedures to achieve the validity on five different qualitative strategies, intended to emphasize that many of the proposed procedures are legacies of the various traditions that could also be used under other qualitative strategies.
