摘要：

This photo essay reflects on the period of my photojournalism career based in Seoul, South Korea, covering the student-led pro-democracy movement of the mid 1980s. The movement succeeded through the power of protest, the participation of the media and the courage of the South Korean people. The photo essay that follows suspends an element of this historical moment in time.
