摘要：

The wide-spread suggestion according to which philosophers of the Enlightenment shared unequivocally critical attitude towards war needs to be challenged. The author analyses works by Voltaire and demonstrates his ambiguous attitude towards war; this ambiguity was based on the character itself of the ideology of Enlightenment.
