摘要
Short-term (seasonal) changes in Pb, Cd, Cu and Zn concentrations in snow from central Greenland have been investigated by analysing a detailed sequence of 19 samples covering the years 1989-1990. Pronounced variations are observed for all four metals, with low concentrations in fall-winter and high concentrations during spring-summer. The anthropogenic contribution is found to always be predominant, but the natural contributions can, however, be significant, especially in spring. Although there is a similar behaviour between the changes for the four metals, some differences are observed (especially in summer) and are tentatively interpreted in term of sources and source regions.
