The effect of oxygen in nanocrystalline colloidal TiO2 film photoelectrodes have been investigated by means of optically induced photocurrent transient measurements. It was concluded that O-2 played an important role in the recombination of electrons and heres. Some effects especially associated with the nanoporous morphology of these photoelectrodes are discussed.
