FITTING REGRESSION-MODELS WITH UNKNOWN TRANSFORMATIONS USING DYNAMIC GRAPHICS

摘要
This paper develops a dynamic graphical technique for analyzing a regression model with an unknown transformation of the dependent variable. The method is almost as easy to use as the usual plot of y versus x when we have one regressor, and requires no assumptions about the nature of the unknown transformation.
