摘要
The Glashow model, which violates CP invariance by inserting two phase factors between the vector and axial-vector currents in the usual weak Hamiltonian, is applied to the decays K→3π, using standard techniques of current algebra and partially conserved axial-vector current. Experiments on K→2π can determine one combination, S, of these phase factors, while possible CP violation in K→3π can determine the other combination, D. As a result of calculated enhancement factors, it is shown that present experimental (∼10% or more) crude limits on CP violation in K→3π already limit D to less than 0.01, and that in possible future experiments on K→3π one can hope to see a positive CP-violating effect if the Glashow model is a correct description of CP violation. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
