摘要
The peculiar characteristics of our contemporary societies, in which the role of the knowledge is of great importance, demand that educational authorities and educatorsas a whole-face the challenge to rebuild the traditional educational model, mainly at university level. These scenarios claim new professional profiles based on autonomy, a flexible use of knowledge; decision making processes; teamwork capacity; creativity and predisposition towards permanent training. Universities face the need to formulate their programs again, to diversify teaching methodologies and to incorporate new contents, such as scientific attitude, professional ethic, social responsibility, solidarity and respect for diversity and creativity. Due to the growing access of young people coming from diverse social and cultural environments to university - which implies different trainings, expectations and interests-university teachers are being questioned about difficult teaching situations becoming more and more difficult. It is necessary to implement didactic training proposals specifically for university teachers based on observation processes of classroom situations which should generate analysis and reflection in teachers' communities, supported by theoretical material.
