摘要：

In the title compound, C11H9NO3, the dihedral angle between the methoxybenzene and 1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione rings is 75.60 (10)degrees. The C atom of the methoxy group is close to coplanar with its attached ring [deviation = 0.208 (2) angstrom]. In the crystal, weak aromatic pi-pi stacking [centroid-centroid separation = 3.8563 (13)angstrom] occurs between inversion-related pairs of benzene rings.
