摘要
A polarized heavy ion source based on spin and charge exchange collisions and laser optical pumping succeeded in producing a nuclear polarized He-3(+) beam. A brief description is given on a prerequisite as a practical heavy ion source and on an external injection system by which the polarized He-3 bearn will be injected into the RCNP isochronous cyclotron.
