摘要
It is suggested that when an interstellar cloud, with associated magnetic field, collapses to form stars, the magnetic energy is dissipated in the acceleration of particles, producing non-thermal radio sources, and that the latter have been observed in the galactic plane. © 1969 Nature Publishing Group.
