摘要
The article is focused on the problem of international intervention into the conflicts in the failed-states and the explanation of poor results of such an involvement. The case of Afghanistan is under study. The analysis is based on the quantitative event-monitoring, conducted by the Analytical Center of MGIMO-University. Data processing reveals significant non-linearity of the political process in Afghanistan, reflected in non-correspondence of political actions of key actors and their results. Such a situation is viewed as a key determinant of unsuccessful foreign involvement into the Afghan affairs.
