摘要：
The objective of this study is to relate key processing and formation parameters to the end product. Specifically, one should be able to predict and control the paper product after knowing the contribution of formation pH and drying temperature. Utilizing optical handsheet images, an index of formation has been developed This index is an objective measurement o the uniformity of dispersion. The index is compared to trends of tensile strength and density os formation pH and drying temperatures are varied.
