摘要
A remote thiophenyl group retards the TiO2-mediated photocatalytic oxidation of the alcohol group in 4-thiophenyl-l-butanol. Model studies implicate intramolecular bridging in the adsorbed cation radical and/or hole trapping by sulfur in the primary oxidative photoprocess at the photocatalyst-liquid interface. © 1990.
