MEASUREMENT OF COLLATERAL BLOOD FLOW AFTER MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION IN CLOSED-CHEST DOG

摘要：
A technique is described whereby the blood flow distal to experimental occlusion of a coronary artery can be measured in the closed-chest dog. Coronary blood flow fell to a mean of 31.8 per cent of control immediately following occlusion. All dogs showed electrocardiographic evidence of myocardial infarction. This procedure may be of value in the study of the effects of various interventions on collateral circulation following experimental infarction. © 1969.
