摘要:
The reaction kinetics of recombinant human renin (rh-renin) derived from Chinese hamster ovary cells reacting with recombinant human angiotensinogen (rhANG) has been shown to be similar to those of human renal renin with human plasma angiotensinogen. At pH 6.5 and 37-degrees-C, the Michaelis constant (Km) of rh-renin reacting with rhANG was 1.62 muM, and catalytic center activity (kcat) was 1.05 per second. In this study, we provided a basis for the study of the structure-function relationships of the human renin-angiotensin system using recombinant proteins.
