摘要：

The degree of pollution of the River Axios in Northern Greece has been evaluated by determination of certain chemical parameters, such as dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, nutrients and heavy metals. The samples were collected monthly, for a period of 1 year, from three sampling stations within the greek section of the river, and they were surface water and surface sediments.
