Since the North American psychiatrist Richard Gardner in the middle of the eighties defined Parental Alienation Syndrome, many social, scientific and juridical controversies have been surrounding it. Understanding that such a phenomenology has its own space of expression in the forensic assessment, in the present article it is proposed an approach from the forensic psychological assessment perspective which by its definition should be developed apart from ideologies, political thoughts, influential groups or social sensibilities, focusing only in the technical and scientific criteria.
