ON CHARACTER OF TEMPERATURE-CHANGE OF THE THERMAL-EXPANSION ANISOTROPY IN HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTOR YBA2CU4O8

摘要
The lattice parameters as well as the axial thermal expansion coefficients and their anisotropy parameters for the high T(c), superconductor YBaCu4O8 were determined as a function of temperature between 80 and 600 K using X-ray powder diffractometry technique. The anisotropy is found to depend on temperature. The greatest anisotropy was observed at 80 K and decreases markedly on heating up to room temperature.
