Experimental study of mechanical properties of granite under high/low temperature freeze-thaw cycles

摘要
It is an important topic in rock mechanics and rock engineering to study the mechanical properties of rocks under the high temperature freeze-thaw cycles. The variation rules of the uniaxial compressive strength, elastic modulus, peak deformation and stress-strain curve under the influence of freeze-thaw cycles at different temperature amplitudes are studied by experimental tests. Based on Loland damage mechanical model, the material damage variable expression is deduced; and the relationship between granite mechanical properties degradation and cycle number and temperature amplitude is revealed. All these researches set up the foundation for the following experimental studies of high (low) temperature rock mechanics.
