摘要：

Women of reproductive age group can present with acute pain in abdomen with a wide variety of differential diagnosis. We report a case of torsion of fallopian tube presenting as acute abdomen. Since torsion of fallopian tube is extremely rare, a high degree of clinical suspicion is required for its diagnosis. Early decision for laparoscopy/laparotomy with preservation of tubal integrity should be the aim in young patients to preserve fertility.
