摘要
Background. The present paper gives an overview on personnel health promotion activities undertaken by Austrian universities. Methods. Using data from a quantitative survey and an internet inquiry, the actual state is presented and briefly discussed. Results. Interestingly enough, systematic analysis of health data is not undertaken and health promotion seems not to be integrated in organizational processes and structures. However, flexible work arrangements, sabbaticals and childcare facilities are widely present. Conclusion. Nevertheless, all in all, the perception of employee health is nearly not existent in Austrian universities.
