摘要：
This article aims at examining the recent Brazilian scholarship on 19th Century lawyers. From different methodological and theoretical approaches, social scientists and historians have defined some of the main characteristics of a diversity of actual law practicioners during the 1911 Century, focusing as well on their relationship with many social groups.
