Characteristics of FWM mirrors have been investigated experimentally by four-wave mihing of the YAG:Er3+ laser radiation (lambda = 2.94-mu-m) in organic solvents. The maximal relfectivity of 500 % has been obtained for benzine at the energy density of 2 J/cm2 under Q-switshed operation. Compensation has been demonstrated for distortions introduced by inhomogeneous NaCl phase plates due to OPC. The longitudinal coherence length of the YAG:Er3+ laser radiation has been determined employing the dependence of the FWM mirror reflectivity on the difference between path lengths of signal and corunning pump waves.
