摘要
The optimal size of a semi-batch desorption subunit of a SCF extraction plant is found by minimizing its total cost. A golden-search algorithm is used to fmd the optimal number of desorption vessels and its optimal size. Regenerating times for every batch-cycle are calculated by integrating numerically the physical model which describes the desorption process.
