摘要
The purpose of this study is to know the contribution of the controllability of failure, sucess expectations, self-efficacy and goal orientation on emotional well-being. The sample is 982 university students of six different degrees. The results indicate that attribution of failures to uncontrollable factors together with the adoption of performance avoidance goals could be enough to reduce emotional well-being. Success expectations, attribution of failure to controllable factors and self-efficacy would be positively associated with the emotional well-being of students in university contexts. The motivational variables used here jointly explain 17.6% of the variance of negative state anxiety.
