TRACE-ELEMENT ANALYSIS BY LASER-ABLATION ATOMIC FLUORESCENCE SPECTROSCOPY

摘要
A very sensitive method to make a trace element analysis in pure water, the laser ablation atomic fluorescence (LAAF) spectroscopy, is proposed and demonstrated, where the atomic detection by laser induced fluorescence (LIF) is combined with excimer laser ablation atomizing, A theoretical calculation predicts that the detection limits of 0.01-0.1 ppt can be expected in an ideal case. A detection limit of 1.7 ppt or 20 fg was experimentally obtained for Na.
