摘要：

The effects of the non-linear processes of charge exchange and dissociative recombination on the decay of the night-time F-region are examined. A comparison with linear theory shows little disparity near the layer maximum. Lower in the atmosphere the ionization densities are considerably underestimated by the linear theory. © 1969.
