摘要：

In this article the methodologic developments of regional history in Colombia are studied. It is indicated that the methodologic and theoretical aspects that are demanded to this type of historiography are such of history in general. Consequently, the development of this type of history in the Valley of the Cauca Colombia- and the discussions that on the matter advanced their main representatives is studied.
