NUMERICAL-CALCULATION OF THE TURBULENT-FLOW OF A COLD HEAVY GAS IN THE ATMOSPHERE

A method for calculating the non-stationary spatial flow of a two-component ciscous compresisble heat-conducting gas in a gravitational field of force is proposed. The method is based on the use of a more-accurate modification of the algorithm for splitting with respect to the physical processes and spatial directions using the control volume method to derive the system of finite difference equations. The accuracy and effectiveness of the method is analyzed. The calculated data are compared with the results of full-scale experiments.
