摘要
This text aims to discuss the curricular restructuring process implemented by Rio Grande do Sul State Education Secretary as of the year 2011 and interdisciplinarity as a methodology for the construction of knowledge in the learning process. The text reflects on the key concepts that guide this restructuring process. In this respect, it highlights interdisciplinarity as a concept that allows for the construction of knowledge and learning. It also presents the interdisciplinary methodology as an instrument of intervention and social transformation based on the interaction between teachers and students in current schools and, in particular, the Polytechnic High School.
