摘要:
Resonant two-photon ionisation mass spectrometry (R2PI/MS) is used to investigate the electronic structure of aniline vapour and its associated laser produced fragments in the region of the 1B2 <-- 1A1 absorption band. All fragment ions so produced have the same wavelength dependence as the parent ion. An increase in detection efficiency may therefore be achieved by monitoring the total ion yield (parent + fragments) as a function of laser wavelength.
