摘要：

This paper describes a new cyrtiid from the Las Arroyacas Formation (Upper Silurian, Spain): Hedeinopsis hispanica nov. gen. nov. sp. Its peculiar morphology, specially the presence of a striate cardinal process, a delthyrial plate and a deltidial cover reminiscent of the stegidial apparatus, leads to the erection of a new subfamily. The assignation of a few other eospiriferid (s.l.) genera to this subfamily is examined and discussed. © 1990.
