摘要：

Rare earth silicophosphates with a general formula RE//2O//3 multiplied by (times) O. 10SiO//2 multiplied by (times) 0. 95P//2O//5 (RE represents La or Gd and these formula are simplified as LSP or GSP respectively) were synthesized and developed as good host materials for making phosphors. A systematic investigations on the luminescence properties of Ce**3** plus -activated silicophosphates of lanthanum and gadolinium are reported.
