摘要
We report measurements of the lattice constant, electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat of UCu5-xPdx for 0 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 2.3. Alloys corresponding to x < 0.75 are antiferromagnets, with T(N) strongly concentration dependent. Chi and C for x greater-than-or-equal-to 2 are consistent with spin-glass freezing. C/T for UCu3.5Pd1.5 diverges logarithmically as T-->0 K while rho is linear in T at the lowest temperatures. The thermodynamic properties of this alloy are inconsistent with the Fermi-liquid theory down to at least 0.32 K.
