摘要：

Patients with untreated malignant hypertension are at risk of developing encephalopathy, renal failure, and cardiac failure and require urgent correction of blood pressure. Rapid reduction of hypertension, however, has been associated with cerebral and myocardial infarction. 1 2 We report on two patients who became blind after treatment for malignant hypertension. © 1979, British Medical Journal Publishing Group.
