摘要
Micrococcal nuclease has been conjugated to soluble carboxyl-bearing microgels with a water-soluble carbodiimide. The stability of the enzyme-polymer conjugate is significantly enhanced over that of the native enzyme. The value of K(m) of the immobilised enzyme is raised some 30-fold, probably due to electrostatic repulsion, whereas k(cat) is essentially unchanged.
